PRICES The translation service I offer is tailor-made and therefore, it is not possible to give a fixed price without seeing your document first. However, there are some rules of thumb for determining a price: * Starting point for the calculation is the number of words counted in the source language (i.e. the language of the document that needs to be translated). * I use a standard rate of € 0.10 per source word with a minimum of € 35.00 per translation. * Urgent translations, sworn translations and translations that demands a highly specific level of expertise are subject to a surcharge. * You receive a discount for large translations (over 5,000 words source text). * Proofreading, editing and rewriting are charged at an hourly rate. There is a charge of 21% on translation services with the exception of translation for publicity purposes (books and articles for magazines - 6%). I do not charge VAT on cross border transactions.
